Dear colleagues and friends,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 43rd Annual Meeting of the European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, hosted for the 1st time, in the Czech Republic and the enchanting city of Prague, from September 11-13, 2025.

As in the past, the conference will kick off with a pre-meeting course, a 1-day comprehensive review of current topics, designed for the young ophthalmologist or anyone eager to stay ahead in our specialty. We then dive into the main event, a 2-day scientific blend of rapid-fire presentations, free papers and invited distinguished keynote speakers. This year will also spotlight AI in oculoplastics, endoscopic orbital approaches, and facial war trauma, alongside the core topics of eyelid, lacrimal, and orbital surgery. Delegates from all over the world will make it an ideal environment to meet new international colleagues, exchange ideas and make new friends from afar.

Situated in the heart of Europe, Prague has been at the crossroads of history since its founding in the 8th century. Despite some turbulent times, the historical centre has escaped any major destruction and proudly displays its tourist core, as one of the best-preserved old cities of Europe. Its colorful history, along with beautiful architecture and modern amenities, make it today one of the top tourist destinations in this part of the world. The meeting venue is the Municipal House, a historical Art Nouveau gem, in the same central location to showcase the boutique, magical feel of the Old Town. This area is also teeming with numerous hotels, fine restaurants as well as theaters, galleries and cultural events, including a vibrant nightlife.

We endeavour to create for you an unforgettable and stimulating academic experience, set in a rich historical, social and gastronomic backdrop, with the goal of ESOPRS 2025 to be fondly remembered for years to come.
